- Divide the class into groups.
- Each group needs one piece of paper
- Each group decides on a group name. The group name is written across the top of the paper and on the board where the points will be tallied.
- A different person must write each time and a different person must toss each time.
- Show the review item.
- Each group writes down its guess on the paper.
- They wad the paper up and gently through it to the teacher.
- The teacher reads the answer. If it is correct, he/she writes the points under the appropriate team name and tosses it back. If it is incorrect, he/she simply tosses it back to the group and they try again.
- IT IS NOT A RACE. EACH GROUP HAS EQUAL OPPORTUNITY TO GAIN POINTS.
My special rule is if the paper wad hits me, I will not read it. This prevents students from throwing it when I am bending over to pick up on that I missed catching!
